Final Blog Post "What I Learned This Year"

In my film class, I learned many things. The J and L cuts for seamless audio transitions and the 180-degree rule to maintain spatial consistency. We also practiced framing with Spring Fling pictures and experimented with stop motion animation. I explored match and jump cuts, made an Oscar's commercial to practice effective advertising, and discovered how speed ramping can enhance a scene's emotional impact, whether thats through action or sadness. All in all, I had an incredible time in this class and cant wait to continue next year!
