• What are your Short-Term Goals for 2026 (by Spring Break)
For 2026, I have a few short-term goals. First and foremost, this new year, I want to stretch more. Taking time out of my day to stretch truly makes a difference when im on the field, and even when I wake up in the morning. I feel refreshed and unstressed. Im not trying to go from zero to hero, though. I plan on starting small and building up over the course of this year. My short-term flexibility goal is to be able to put my palms on the floor when I do a forward fold. Another short-term goal I want to achieve is a cooking goal. This year, I want to learn a new recipe every two weeks. Simple as that.
• Capstone Project- What is your goal for your project and why? If you're working with a group, ask them the same question. Be specific
My goal for this project is to spread awareness about how much time we actually spend on phones and technology, and how, for the most part, this time isn't being spent wisely, and it's affecting our mental health. Hopefully, my capstone project will encourage people to step away from technology and disconnect for a while.
• Personal - What personal goal would you like for yourself?
A personal goal I have for myself is to cultivate a stronger sense of drive and consistency in my daily life. Last year, I worked fairly hard personally, academically, and athletically, but I wasn't as consistent as I wanted to be. Therefore, throughout the remainder of this semester, I plan on working towards my passions in a sustainable way so I can maintain stable consistency through all endeavours of my life.
• Finish your post by writing what TV series, movie, or documentary you have watched in the past six months that you would recommend to others- (Rate it 1-5 with 5 being best and explain why
A couple of months back, I watched this movie called white chicks for the first time. Basically, a couple of undercover cops go undercover as white chicks, and they have to live the life of rich white sisters for a weekend to protect the real white sisters from getting kidnapped. Im pretty sure that's how it went, but the movie was so funny that I sort of forgot the plot at some point. It was honestly one of the funniest movies I've seen in a while, and therefore I give it a 5/5. I would definitely recommend this.
